I’m a molecular pharmacologist in pre-clinical research within the pharmaceutical industry. As a drug discovery scientist, I have broad experience in target validation through to hit finding and lead optimization programs across a range of therapeutic targets and disease areas. I specialize in assay development, GPCR pharmacology and enzymology. I am always interested in finding ways to improve innovation in pre-clinical drug discovery that minimizes the gap between in vitro efficacy and ultimately clinical effectiveness.

However, being a drug discovery scientist is just my day job and I enjoy educating myself in other sciences with a perpetual desire to further improve my understanding of medicine, physics, mathematics, statistics and cosmology.
